This is a Buddhist temple situated in the Ilbongsan Mountain Valley in Cheonan. It’s the headquarters of the Cheonhwa Order, a neo-Buddhist order of Korea. The doctrine of the Cheonhwa Order is to save Buddhists from sins and disasters, foster the spirit of patriotism, and play a leading role in the construction of a welfare country and reformation of the people.
In 1979, its headquarters were relocated here from Yongunsa Temple in Insa-dong, Seoul.
